It gives us great pleasure to invite you to the 9th Asian Congress of Urology of the Urological Association of Asia, organized by the Urological Society of India at New Delhi from 2nd - 5th October, 2008 and Pre Congress Live Operative- Workshop at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi on 1st October, 2008.

Asia is inhabited by two third of the world's population and has a vibrant economy. With increase in longevity, education and awareness, the number of patients and the standard of medical care is improving and matching the best in the world. Appropriately, the theme of the Congress is 'Minimal Access Urology-Asian Perspective.' The Congress will deliberate on the latest technologies used in management of various urologic diseases and will discuss their utility and impact amongst the Asian population. There is a large scope and potential for use of these new
technologies as they emerge and help improve patient care with minimal morbidity,
hospital stay and early return to work.

India is a country of staggering topographical variations, whose rich and incredibly diverse cultural heritage has been shaped by 5000 years of history, making it an ideal travel destination. The Congress will be held in the capital city of India, Delhi, that mirrors the glorious culture and traditions of our country as well as the modernity of our times. The venue of the Congress is Hotel Ashok Convention Centre which is fully equipped to host a large congress with state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities.
